Original Walt Disney production Cel from the 1977 animated classic \" The Rescuers\". The Cel depicts the main character, Bernard.Bernard was voiced by the actor and comedian Bob Newhart.Character cels were produced from the animators pencil drawings. Since 1961 these drawings have been transferred onto cels using a special xerox process. When the transfer process is completed, inkers hand - apply effects on the cel fronts. Artists then apply character color on the cel backs. \"The Rescuers\" was the last animated film that Disney animating legends Ollie Johnston and Frank Thomas worked on. Walt Disney Company\'s original production cels are included in many important Museums and private collections.This Cel was created in 1977 and is in excellent condition.
