This early Stanwell from the 1970s was lightly smoked but maintained carefully so it still is in nice shape. About fifty years old and smoked regularly since I bought it.

Very good condition. Nice 7" length and lightweight at only 1.64 ounces.

About 10 years ago, I broke the bit, and when it happened, it also cracked the end of the shank. I had it professionally repaired at Walker Brier Works with a sterling silver band, and glued and pinned the area where there was a crack in the shank, it has been stable for 10 years without any movement. At that time I had a clear acrylic bit installed.

Before listing I have personally cleaned it as I do my other pipes from my collection.

Long, lithe, and stylish, this Stanwell 84B style Selected Briar Canadian pipe presents a slim rounded bowl that taper to a firm heel. Longshank and steam clear acrylic bit with sterling silver band and no tooth marks.
