Worn by the highest ranking officer of the Soviet military. The Marshal of The Soviet Union can be considered equal to the US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and or Secretary of Defense. This overcoat is the parade dress for the Marshal of The Soviet Union and has the correct matching gray backed shoulder boards specifically for this jacket. Many other marshals overcoats come with the gold backed boards because this type is very difficult to find. Jacket is around a size 42/44R.
