Offered is an original pre-World War One leather sling manufactured for use with the Springfield Trapdoor rifles, Krag-Jorgensen rifles and early Springfield Model of 1903 rifles. This pre-M1907 sling was manufactured with one brass claw and one brass button/stud. It will fit any 03 rifle but is certainly correct for early 03s, including rod bayonet 03s. approximately 64 inches. Overall, a very scarce sling. There been no repairs done to this strap.
