This antique hand-blown etched glass barrel dispenser jar from H.J. Heinz Company is a true treasure for collectors. The clear glass with intricate etchings adds a touch of old-world charm to any space. Its 1-gallon capacity makes it perfect for storing pickling vinegar or other liquid condiments.

The jar is an original piece from the late 1880s to early 1890s, making it a rare find for any collector of pickling vinegar advertising. The jar was made in the United States and has the brand name of Heinz etched on it, even though the original label & base is missing this is still a perfect addition to any collection or a unique gift for someone who appreciates antique & vintage pieces.

The condition of this item is Used it has some flaws the biggest is the original label, spigot & base is missing as shown in the photos ( I’m not positive it came with a base as the remake did in 1991 ). The glass spigot hole is chipped but still functional it appears a spigot would still work. chipping around the bung hole is normal and should be there it part of the glass blowing process. Please see the pictures they are part of the description!

NOTE: most all of the barrel dispensers on are not a original with hand blown glass. You can tell by how it’s made a original has a bung hole on the top were the blowing tube is attached then they chip off excess glass around it. The 1991 remake has a glass lid that is a modern removable lid, also they have the wrong label on as well. I have some pictures that show the difference, titled for reference only not available.
