The only thing that could be considered a \"flaw\" is the inevitable thin small radius hole plexiplass fracture(5/8\" long) that occurs on 95% of clocks of this period. When the back light is on the crack fades to almost nothing. Also, a stabalizing piece of plywood was added to the bottom with the original adhesive strips on the bottom(as the design is top heavy.) You may remove if you wish. As seen on back photo of front plate, I have added a small piece of black tape to darken a spot to the left of Olympia logo that is exposed due to manufacter misplacement of waterfall image. You may remove but it solves the issue nicely! Overall quiet function, with little to no wear on gear parts. The ballast for the light tube is a little loose on the left side, but once the tube is in the right position the light works fine(Although unlikely,a large sudden bump could loosen the light and need adjustment by easily removing original turning screws that mount the face plate on both sides.) Has original 8\' plug in cord in excellent condition. You may wish to add a ground plug if you choose. The black marks on the back face plate picture(beside small piece if tape) ARE NOT WEAR MARKS, only manufacturers embellishments. There is also a small scratch on righthand side of horseshoe.
