---this is an original and VERY SCARCE zine called MIDNIGHT MARQUEE, issue 37, fall of 1988, 208 pages plus covers. it is signed by 2 people, Gary Svehla the editor in chief and one of the artists Robert Knox. it is very cool.

Midnight Marquee began in the ’60s as a xeroxed fanzine called Gore Creatures put out by a teenager named Gary J Svehla. After 26 issues he changed the name to Midnight Marquee, and it eventually became a thick, well respected magazine, lasting all the way to 2001. The magazine featured very long, in-depth (much longer than most magazines) and well thought out articles about certain films, actors, or points of view with lots of original art to go with it.

from the amazing \"White Mountain Collection\" from the collector Kennett Neily, you may have heard of his amazing comics, well I got a lot of his other stuff, original art, travel brochures, comics, books, magazines, zines, VHS tapes, etc. most of his items are known for being date stamped (or written) the day he purchased/or picked it up (and sometimes exactly where) and left in clean (mostly unused) condition. i am listing all the items separately, as the condition is unbelievable, if there is any wear it is light and as shown. WOW

In 1984 a man approached Jerry Weist, owner of \"The Million Year Picnic\" comic shop in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a small sampling of comics from his collection. This initial meeting was the hobby\'s introduction towhat is now referred to as the White Mountain Collection. Few collections of Silver Age books approach the consistently high level of condition and page quality that White Mountain copies possess. Weist would eventually become the organizer for Sotheby\'s comic book and comic art sales.In that capacity,heintroduced the collecting world to this fabulous discovery, offering choice samplings in Sotheby\'s 1991, 1993 and 1996 sales.

Many collectors are still not aware that the collection\'s large body of Silver Age publications also included a small sampling of choice, early Underground Comix. It should also be said that mostcollectors have yet to grasp thesignificance of that inclusion. For most Silver Age collectors, the UG\'s are the forgotten books of the period, and this is a serious omission on their part.
