SUGGESTED / PROPER GOLD PANNING TECHNIQUES

-For best gold panning results, pan with water slowly swirling a spoonful at a time using a gold pan, remove the gold and repeat. While panning, be sure to pan over a tub, bucket, container, etc. filled with water. You will want to pan through all material 2-3x to make sure that you have revealed as much gold as possible!

-Use jet-dry or non-oil dish soap to break gold surface tension, as flat gold is known to float.

UNDERSTANDING RAW GOLD PAYDIRT DEPOSITS

-Gold is extremely rare in nature and costs hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars in expenses for a successful gold mine to operate. Typically a gold mine is considered to be working on GOOD GROUND when you are seeing $25-40 in gold values per CUBIC YARD (1 cubic yard contains just over 2,000 LBS of Paydirt) BUT ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE DUE TO VARIANCE!!

-Since Gold Paydirt comes from creek gravels and sands the paydirt generally consist of sands, dirts, pebbles, clays, blacksands, broken up bedrock and of course gold.From time to time, organic material such as leaves and roots can make it in. You also may find rare garnets, river glass, quartz ore specimen and heavies such as old lead shot + more. Gold Paydirt generally comes from active water running creeks.

-Raw Gold as found in nature comes in at around 18-24k but anything is always class="MsoNormal">
