56 hand-colored aquatint plates by Samuel Henry Gordon Alken and George Augustus Sala, laid on linen to form one continuous illustration of the procession which marked the Duke of Wellington\'s funeral on November 18th, 1852. Panorama measures approximately 67 ft in length when unfolded. In publisher\'s maroon cloth portfolio with stamped gilt title and heraldic illustration. Mild staining, transfers, and spotting to plates, with a few minor tears affecting some folds. Portfolio rubbed and worn at extremities, with ribbon ties mostly absent.
