Made the Oregon state fossil in 2005, this is a fossil Metasequoia leaf from the Eocene John Day formation. There is also another, larger leaf in a ghostly whitish imprint on the matrix which measures about 5 inches at its longest. The cube is provided for size reference and measures 1 cm. Neither the cube nor the stand is part of the sale. Please review the photos as they are part of the description and show the actual item you will receive.
