This ornament is an impressive replica of the megalithic statuary found in the park that were made of volcanic rock. The ornament is made out of clay and has a metal loop at the top for hanging. The name of the god is written in Spanish on the back. The ornament is new and impressively detailed. It measures 2 1/2\" high and 2\" wide. The San Agustín Archaeological Park is located in the Colombian Massif of the Colombian southwestern Andes.

The park features the largest complex of pre-Columbian megalithic funerary monuments and statuary. The wealth of megalithic statuary from the archaeological site in San Agustín Archaeological Park bears vivid witness to the artistic creativity and imagination of the pre-Hispanic culture that flowered in the hostile tropical environment of the northern Andes.

These hieratic guards are carved in blocks of tuff and volcanic rock. The San Agustín Archaeological Park includes four separate sites, with boundaries defined so as to include the main concentrations of burial mounds with megalithic statues of the Regional Classic (1-900 AD) period.
