This stunning felt pennant. Bright orange feltwith contrasting black lettering, end-border and tassel tails. Letters andend-border are all separately sewn. This one is in extraordinary condition forits age. Whenpossible or necessary, pennants are shipped flat, otherwise all are carefullyprotected, loosely rolled-up, and shipped in a box. ⭐APPROXIMATE SIZE: Length = 23 in (58.42 cm), width = 8 in(20.32 cm).
⭐CONDITION: Excellent, light patina, screen-printedgraphics and lettering bright, sharp and clear, pennant tip has minor clip, tasseltails straight and unfettered. Review images for condition accuracy andverification.
⭐ADDITIONAL INFO: Many pennants from 1930s and later weremanufactured by the ‘Keezer’ company, Plaistow NH, this may or may not be one.I have over 120 vintage pennants I am in the process of listing.
⭐WHERE I GOT IT: Maine sale house (years ago).
⭐ERA OF ORIGIN: 1920s-1950s.
⭐SUMMARY: Older felt pennants like this arebecoming hard to find. Authentic felt pennants are machine handsewn usingmultiple components. Modern pennants originating around the 1980s started to bemade in one piece from thin synthetic felt-like material- no components orstitching.
