Set of Two Flowers and Fruit

For your consideration is a set of two charmingporcelain plates, smaller and bigger, with similar design, consistingof vividly colored flower sprays and fruit branches all over the body
Hand painted over transfer underglaze, gilt highlights and rim over the glaze
Well marked with impressed and printed marks of Rörstrand with the threecrowns as well the pattern and possiblythe artist\'s impressed markings AF7 Iv... E and AF8 Iv... O respectively (smaller and larger plate)
There are holes on the bottom rims, suggesting that these plates were meant to be hung as decoration
Circa 1890-1920, Sweden
Rörstrand, founded in 1726, is one of Sweden’s oldest manufacturers andhas produced ceramics for nearly 300 years. Many of their items are very desirable and sought after by collectors. The marking and the patternof the plates presented here are datingthem to be from the late 19th or very early 20th. century.
All original and rare
Measurements: Approx.: the larger - 8.5\" diameter, the smaller - 7\" diameter
Weigh about 1 lb. 6 oz. both
Condition:Very Good overall.Please see photos. All original. The larger plate shows some surface crazing and minor discoloration, visible at the underside, consistent with age and use. The smaller does not have discoloration, just glaze crazing visible at the underside. Great display nevertheless!
