Here is a more unusual slip paintedpitcher from Soufflenheim, France. It is in good vintage condtion. Decorated withthickly painted flowers and leaves. Appears to be a one-off pattern using traditional colors and motifs. Background and interior is a cream colored glaze with some small age appropriate tiny crazing. The glaze is worn away a bit at the bottom interior and there are spots of glaze flakes particularly in spots around the rim and handle as well as one finger print spot on the front, about 1”from the bottom (see photo 4). No cracks; no hairlines.Measures 5 3/4”tall and 6 1/4”across at the handle.
