A Superb Set of (4) Hard-To-Find Firestone AirChief Art Deco Radio Knobs with a ‘Winged Man Atop the World’ Motifcommemorating the 1939 New York World’s Fair. These knobs were used during the 1939 and1940 Model Years on many different table and console radios.

The set of one (1) large and three (3) small AirChief Radio Knobs are all in VG+ Condition.The large one measures 1-1/4” in diameter by 11/16” deep and has a knob spring that accepts a standard1/4” diameter ‘D’ shaft. The three (3) small knobs measure 1” indiameter by 11/16” deep – one accepts a standard 1/4” diameter ‘D’ shaft, and theother two (2) accept a standard 1/4” diameter splined shaft.

NOTE: The knobs haveonly been lightly cleaned & have NOT been polished to a luster, so theremay be dirt in the embossed crevices, etc.Also, my close-up pics may highlight some nice mottling/marbling orlight scratches, mold marks, etc., that you won’t necessarily see with thenaked eye. Polishing the knobs will accentuatethe original brilliance & underlying color and mottling, if present, while additionallyhiding any light scratches or minor defects.
