Origin:Traded with J. Whitcher (Western Australia). Collected live 3 meters deepat the bottom size of big boulders -- Oct 1977.

Nicegold coloring and pattern.

This is part of our late father\'s large collection of seashells he obtained while stationed on Okinawa, Japan in 1974-1978. He was an avid scuba diver and seashell collector.His interests in shells grew from more than the Indo-Pacific species when he engaged in trading his shells with some of the prominent collectors around the world.

Ted\'s shells have been thoughtfully stored for the past 50 years and are in excellent condition. My sister and I are listing shells after researching them for quality and uniqueness. It is hard to take images without glare since the luster is intact as if fresh out of the water. Images are for the condition of the shell - colors may vary depending on your monitor. Grading shells is a subjective measure but we find that the shells we list will be of gem quality unless otherwise stated.
