In December of 1981, the Silverbird Hotel and Casino closed its doors following the death of the owner Major Riddle. It was previously called the Thunderbird until its purchase in 1976 and official re-opening in 1977. The estate eventually sold the hotel / casino to Ed Torres, who renamed it the El Rancho.
There are 100 identical post cards in this once factory sealed slot. They have been in storage for about 42 years and were once factory sealed in cello, but after numerous moves the cello has become wripped in places but still present. Only about 10 of the post cards show some very very minor color wear on the corners edges
