☆ 1960\'s \"FORT MACKINAC\" Wagners Midwestern Landmarks Lithograph SERIES No. 30:
$79.99

You are offerding on an outstanding original Limited Edition lithograph from the Wagners Printers (Davenport, Iowa) Midwestern Landmarks Series:

Print Name and Number: No. 30 - FORT MACKINAC

(Mackinac Island, Michigan)

(Rare Christmas version with double fold up and down)

Artist: Roy A. Bostrom

Size: Overall size of the folded folder is 8 1/2\" x 11\"

Condition: The litho is very nice original condition.

Includes: Original mailing envelope, original backer board, fold out lithograph

This is one in a numbered series of promotional lithographs that were created by Wagners Printers in Davenport and Cedar Rapids Iowa to highlight the quality of their print work. They were mailed to a limited number of preferred customers. Each fold out lithograph includes a front cover, detailed information about the artist and the work, and the work itself. I have discovered some useful information about the series including that they are held in some academic libraries, they were created by notable midwestern artists, and that they were limited to about 250 of each in the series.

This is suitable for framing. I have over 20 in this series that I will be listing over the next few weeks. Stay tuned!

Additional information obtained from Coe College website: \"At the time, the library staff was trying to determine when the lithographs were produced. Because the print was identified as a \"Lithography by Wagners Printers,\" Reference Assistant Harlene Hansen went to the Internet to locate contact information for the longtime Davenport, Iowa-based printer. (They exist) in a series of approximately 40 lithographs created as part of Wagners\' Midwestern Landmarks promotional series to highlight the company\'s high-quality printing capabilities. The company, which opened an office in Cedar Rapids in the early 1960s, printed about 250 lithographic copies of each subject to send to customers around the Midwest.\"

Guaranteed authentic and original - purchased from the original owner in Davenport, Iowa in the 1980\'s and stored safely since.Safe and secure shipping will run $8.95 - shipping will be in a rigid mailer. Thanks for looking and good luck offerding!

International buyers welcome! We ship using the Global Shipping Program (GSP) only. Thanks.
