This exquisite 15.75" vase is a stunning piece of antique Royal Doulton art pottery, featuring a beautiful floral pattern in beige, white, brown, and tenmoku colors. Fanny Sayers who was at Doulton Lambeth between 1903 to 1910. Early 20th century Doulton Lambeth baluster vases with long slender necks, neck in various shades of amber drip glaze, to amber and cream body with raised tube-lined floral and scroll decoration, incised to the base 'Doulton Slaters Patent', 'Doulton Lambeth England', initialed 'LB'.

From 1901 until 1922, the most distinguishable Royal Doulton trademark was introduced. It brings together the most common and well recognised designs; the famous interlocking ‘D’s’, the crown, the lion, and the roundel. After 1922 a similar back stamp was used, however it was missing the crown. These pieces are quite rare as it was a mark that was not widely used.
