(1) Vintage “49” Star American Flag (12.5” x 16.5”) on 32” Pole ”US Alaska Flag”: $59.95
This is an original (1959) “Vintage” 49 star United States of America “Alaska Flag” (the 49th star representing the admission of Alaska into statehood in 1959 with the United States of America). The flag is affixed by three small staples to a small wooden pole with a wooden finial (wooden pole is 32” in total length including the 2.5” “Gold” colored wood finial). The flag is in very good condition, roughly 65 years old (manufactured in 1959), measures approximately 12.5” x 16.5” and is made of a thin cotton material. Please see some light discoloration/staining especially in the red and white stripe areas. Discoloration looks more pronounced in pictures than it actually seems to be in person (my opinion, of course, please see pics). Flag has been stored in my climate controlled, smoke free home for decades.
