This Helmet came out of a Vietnam Era Marine Corps Combat Vet's Estate....SUPER CLEAN.......I showed this to a very knowledgeable Militaria dealer/historian and it was his opinion this was repainted around the Vietnam time period in the Marine Corp's shade of Green and he even gave me the code number for the paint but I wrote it down and misplaced the info......So,no doubt this was the Marine's Stateside Helmet...............the stamp is extremely difficult to read but looks to be 980D...........Outstanding Condition with just a bit of wear to top of helmet and straps and some slight wear to headliner...liner has a small 1" crack to the rear which I point out in pic#16......PLEASE BE SURE TO TAKE A GOOD CLOSE LOOK AT ALL THE PICS.................A GREAT ADDITION TO YOUR COLLECTION.............PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS...............Buyer to pay shipping..........International buyers Welcome with 's Global Shipping FOR CHECKING OUT MY sales..............GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
