ITEM: Lot of 8 Original Snapshot Photos of NAMED MEN of COMPANY A, 109th AMMUNITION TRAIN, 34th DIVISION at Camp Cody, New Mexico, 1917-1918. Photos have descriptive notes written on the back.

Photos are from William P. Hall of Allerton, Iowa who was in the Iowa Ammunition Train, Troop D, 1st Iowa Cavalry Regiment until 1917 when it was redesignated Company A, 109th Ammunition Train, 34th Division after the US entered WWI. They trained at Camp Dodge, Iowa and at the Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa before moving to Camp Deming (later renamed Camp Cody), New Mexico for training as a division before being shipped out to France in 1918,
