Gorgeous Antique French 19thc Heavy Cotton Red Medallion Curtain/Drape/Panel:

This c1860-70 curtain panel is truly stunning. It is resist dyed Turkey red onto a heavy corded cotton then hand painted. This large center medallion motif surrounded by 4 borders was designed to look like and resemble a much earlier hand made Persian carpet. At the top edge are the 7 original brass hanging rings. From the back photo you can see the original lining was a Turkey red cotton lining. Fabric is heavy and durable.
