Offered is this gorgeous antique banana leaves majolica platter.

Made in the 1800\'s, it is marked on the back with an impressed O in the clay.

The front features 6 banana leaves where the stems make the handles with a little snail in the center of each handle.

The leaves lay on a basketweave background. The edge border is in a yellow rope pattern with X\'s.

Thisbeautiful platter is in excellent antique condition with no chips. It has an ageline that is hard to see in photo and the price reflects this line.

It measures 14 inches long and 10.25 inches wide.
