Antique Bombay c1880. Pair of ebony elephants draped in silver.:

Quite large, a pair of elephants crafted in ebony with silver decoration, Bombay, circa 1880.
The height is around 11\" ( 28 cms ) to the top of the spike on the canopies.
The canopies are removable from the backs of the elephants.
Some of the small \'drops\' are missing from edge of the canopies and also along the bottom of the silver coverings ( near their feet).
One silver ball missing from one of the silver tusk covers.
